Andy Lee gets KO1!

Middleweight prospect Andy Lee knocked out Marcus Thomas at 1:13 of the first round of their scheduled 10-round main event middleweight bout Thursday night at Compuware Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Detroit based Irishman, Lee (13-0, 10 KOs) hit Thomas (10-3, 4 KOs) of Barbados with a vicious left uppercut, sending him crashing to the canvas. Thomas was unable to continue and was counted out. "Andy Lee is on track to becoming the middlweight champion of the world" stated Lee's manager and trainer Emanuel Steward. Lee's next fight is scheduled for Dec 15th at the National Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
