Four belts on the line next Saturday

On next Saturday night’s “Latin Fury 6” PPV-televised card, headlining Ivan Calderon (31-0, 6 KOs) vs. Hugo Cazares (26-4-1, 19 KOs), for the WBO jr. flyweight title, three more title fights will be on the line. Roman Martinez (19-0-1, 11 KOs), of Puerto Rico, and Santos Benavides (14-1-1, 12 KOs), of Nicaragua, will fight for the NABO jr. featherweight belt; former champ Eric Morel (38-2, 20 KOs), of Puerto Rico, will take on Mexico’s Heriberto Ruiz (39-6-2, 23 KOs) for the NABO bantam belt; and, for the WBO Latino welter title, Puerto Ricans Euri Gonzalez (16-0-1, 11 KOs) and Edwin Vazquez (22-12-2, 8 KOs), will mix.


A Telefutura-televised card for Las Vegas, venue TBD, will feature undefeateds jr. welter Vanes Martirosyan (20-0, 13 KOs), super feather Argenis Mendez (11-0, 7 KOs), lightweight Diego Magdaleno (5-0, 2 KOs), bantam Alex Mercado (5-0, 1 KO) and jr. welter Omar Henry (1-0).
