Another stage of the international Kostya Tszyu Cup fight series took place Saturday in Kaluga, Russia. Russian-based Armenian Artur Marabyan (11-0, 4 KOs) remained undefeated and added the vacant IBF East/West Europe heavyweight title to his resume with an unanimous twelve-round decision over durable Roman Dabolins (9-11, 6 KOs). In co-main bout of the fight night another unbeaten Russian heavyweight Alexey Soloviev (15-0, 10 KOs) made a short work of Kenyan Raymond Ochieng (12-7-1, 9 KOs) knocking him out in the third to retain the IBF international belt. Other results: Alexander Kotlobay (10-1, 6 KOs) TKO3 Teymuraz Kekelidze (15-29-1, 12 KOs); Karen Tevosyan (5-0-3, 3 KOs) KO5 Kogtoranee Por Surasak (10-8, 5 KOs); Damir Bulatov (4-2-1, 1 KO) UD8 Richard Segere (5-1-2, 3 KOs); Evgeny Veniaminov (7-3-1, 2 KOs) SD6 Jurijs Borejko (14-12, 9 KOs).


The “GORIZONT” promotional group staged another local show Saturday in Barnaul, Altay Mountains. There were three fights each featuring a notable prospect in it. In the main event Russian super middleweight titleholder Dmitry Sukhotsky (10-0, 5 KOs) stopped Tanzanian kayo artist Mbaruku Kheri (7-4, 7 KOs) to acquire the TWBA belt in 168lb. Sukhotsky possesses a victory over world-rated David Gogiya. Russian light heavyweight beltholder Rudolf Asaturyan (8-0, 4 KOs) outpointed rugged Vasily Andriyanov (7-17, 1 KOs) to retain his belt. Also, towering (6’ 9’’) heavyweight Evgeny Orlov (8-2-1, 5 KOs) decisioned upset-minded journeyman Daniil Peretyatko (also known as Daniel Peret, 12-15, 3 KOs) over eight.
