Demyanenko decisions Tinampay! Sunday, April 20 2008 By Alexey Sukachev WBO #13 Kazakh welterweight Vitaly Demyanenko (14-0, 10 KOs) successfully came back to the ring for the first time this year with a unanimous decision victory over rugged Filipino national champion Arniel Tinampay (7-8-1, 2 KOs) to retain his WBC Asian Boxing Council and PABA titles. Vitaly, the son of former 1980 Moscow Olympics silver medalist Victor Demyanenko, also possesses WBO Asia Pacific belt in the same weight class.
