Roach: Manny still getting better!

Although many fight fans and industry insiders now peg Manny Pacquiao as the current pound-for-pound best, trainer Freddie Roach humbly declares there is more upswing before the Pacman reaches the peak of his career. "We're always working on new moves. I'd like to see improved defenses. We're working on that more than anything right now," said Roach today at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood. "A lot of people in boxing feel that Manny should be pound for pound," added Roach. "Mayweather is a good boxer but he’s not a finisher and he’s not as exciting as Pacquiao."
