Pro-Am benefit card this Saturday in Ohio!
By Antonio Castro

KJ Promotions is presenting a pro-am event this Saturday at Trimble High School in Glouster, Ohio that is headlined by the return of Brian “The Golden Greek” Camechis. Camechis (17-1, 8 KOs) will battle Nelson Romine (8-1-2, 2 KOs) for the vacant State welterweight title. Camechis is coming off the first loss of his career, a hard fought twelve-round unanimous decision loss against Antonin DeCaire in May for the NABO welterweight title. Romine is coming off an eight round draw against Yukeno Andino last September.

Also in action Will Nixon (1-0, 1 KO) goes toe-to-toe with Cory Tipple (4-1, 1 KO) in a four-round jr welterweight contest plus Valerie DeFreitas (0-1) battles Stacey Rogers (0-1) in a four-round featherweight bout. Several amateur bouts featuring top local and state talent will be showcased.
Those who come out to support the show will also be supporting the youth of Trimble Township. Concession sales during the event will go towards the purchasing of books and supplies for the school children in the area. The doors open at 6pm and the first bout is at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $50, $30 or $20 and are available by calling Sam Jones at 740.767.2699.
