Munroe still Euro champ!

European super bantamweight champion Rendall Munroe (16-1, 7 KOs) outpointed Arsen Martirosian (12-1, 3 KOs) on Friday night at the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre in Nottingham, England. Scores were 115-113, 115-114 and 117-112. It was the second successful defense for Munroe, who seized the title from Kiko Martinez in February. In other action, Matthew Hatton (34-4-1, 13 KOs), brother of Ricky, won an eight-rounder against Scott Woolford (8-2), Martin Gethin (15-0-1, 7 KOs) scored a TKO4 over previously unbeaten John Fewkes (17-1, 2 KOs) in a bout for the English lightweight crown and Scott Haywood (19-2, 4 KOs) won a ten-rounder for the English light welter belt against previously unbeaten Dean Harrison (12-1).
